What will you learn?
In the tableau, we will be covering Tableau Prep Builder, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Online. We will cover Data types, data extraction, data joining and bending, calculation techniques, and different charts – bar chart, bubble chart, Gantt chart, waterfall, and Sankey chart.
Tableau Prep Builder used for cleaning and organizing your data. Tableau Desktop is a licensed software with only 14 days free trial available. If the end use does not have the license, they can use Tableau Public as it is a free tool and same as Tableau Desktop.
We have covered Tableau Online which is also used for Data Visualization but is fully hosted in the cloud.
And in Power BI, we will be covering Power BI Desktop, Power BI DAX, Power BI Q&A, and Power BI Content packs. We will cover Data Modeling, data analysis expressions, and charts – Bar Chart, Combo Chart, Funnel Chart, Bubble Chart, and Sankey Chart.
Power BI Desktop is a tool for visualization. Power BI DAX is a library of functions and operators that can be combined to build formulas and expressions in Power BI. Power BI Q&A is a feature in Power BI to explore data. Power BI Content packs is a way to share Power BI objects, such as reports, datasets, or dashboards with individuals within your organization. It is a licensed feature.
We will also be covering dashboard deployment and integration of tableau and Power BI with Python and R both.
This course is based on python, so it requires an understanding of that.
A warm welcome to Data Visualization and tools course.
We say a picture is more than a thousand words. Data visualization is based on that concept only.
Data visualization is a technique to understand the data by representing the data in a visual or graphical format. It helps decision-makers to identify trends and patterns easily and make the decision by analyzing data visually. Tableau and Power BI are the most commonly used tools for data visualization.
